I never had luck with succulents that I kept in the same soil that came in. I like to change them to a fresh new soil so I can make sure they are free of anything that can kill them over time. I change the soil and at the same time I inspect if they have mealy bugs or things like that. So far, each of the ones that I own are pretty healthy. But your string of pearl could just be dry and simply need more water.
@shirly mei they’re in the souls that came in. The texture feels about right for cacti soil. I’ve cut a load of the healthy vines so I can at least save some of it and start over if the parent plant doesn’t make it through.
they do look a bit dry. water it a ton till you see water coming out of the pot and let it completely dry between watering. To see if the soil is dry check with your fingers or insert a took pick. if it comes
out almost clean water it again. I also hope they are potted in cactus soil for fast dranainge.
I think it seems to be drying. I have my senecio outdoors with heavy rains and moisture and it always looks nice. So dont be afraid of water it more often, whenever the soil is dry. Good luck.
