I'm having a go at propergating succulents and im starting to wonder if the conservatory I'm keeping in them is getting too hot and drying the soil out too quickly. If I spray at 08:30 and my midday theyre bone dry again!

@sarajordan2993 Ah! Thank you so much! That's really helpful. I'll grab some different soil tomorrow and start over!

😅 the same thing is happening to mine, but don't worry they don't need to be wet too often when you begin propagating, only spray water after you see them growing roots so it won't rot right now.

do they already have roots ? it looks like they dont , but my eyes are horrible . firstly , dont water them until you start to notice roots . when they start to root , only water maybe 2 times per week . succulents dont like a lot of water as we all know , so cuttings wont be any different . i noticed also that you may have them in peat moss ?? if so , peat moss is very known for retaining moisture & squeezing the air out of the soil; therefore, creating an unhealthy environment for any type of plants . your best bet is to get a regular potting soil (miracle gro, etc) & mix equal parts of that with perlite & sand . ( 1 part soil , 1 part perlite , 1 part sand ) . i really hope this helped!
